Bluetooth Class Attendance System

Abstract

Automated time and attendance tracking system help to save time and money by eliminating manual processes. With the system, teachers can more accurately and quickly see whether a student is in the class or not.

Implemented an automatic attendance system which detects student’s android devices through Bluetooth. Each student is linked by their device’s IMEI Number and the system marks attendance based on student’s Check-In and Check-Out time collected.

An Android Application was built for students to register, edit courses, mark attendance and view attendance history per course.

A Web Application was built for instructor to view current students in class, attendance history of students and different comparison graphs.
